Who am I?
I am Brian Giera and I am what I promote, which is capitalism, materialism, industry, and environmentalism, objectivism, realism, pessimism, happiness, and dreams, reason, rationalism, secularism, atheism, logic, and Taoism, education, science, intelligence, research, literature, and art, camaraderie, teamwork, and individualism, honesty, reliability, and confession, pride, greed, and envy as a motivator, the self-made, ownership, egoism, efficiency, wealth, and philanthropy, long sentences, flexibility, growth, and change in me. I don’t promote what I am not. I try to be the uncarved block.
What can I be expected to write about?
Since I am so self-centered, it is hard for me to know or care about anything more than Yahoo! homepage stories, and even then I don’t really read more than 10% of them. So why write for duenos.net, where you can discover the world? Because the world is more than just headlines of never ending wars, starvation, and ineffective legal systems. The world has other things to learn about, have fun with, and appreciate. And that’s what I am here to write about. Sure I’ll toss in some articles about our cancers to cure, our globe to cool, or our wounds to heal. But expect me to write more to increase your personal rather than global awareness. I am writing to solve the problem, not to identify it.
