Brian is a senior in chemical engineering at Purdue University with plans to pursue a PhD focusing on transport somewhere prestigious. Jeff Ginger
After receiving a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois, Jeff has switched departments and started a PhD program in information science. His academic work focuses on social informatics, digital divide and social networking services and not surprisingly, so do his posts. Mike Pellegrino
Mike is a first year law student at the University of Illinois still trying to work out the difference between honors and high honors. He has a wide variety of interests reflected in his posts, but some of the general themes include technology (especially video games, Apple, and the intersection of technology with law), law in general, sports (hockey is my life), politics (American, comparative, and international), healthy eating and living, the future, environmental consciousness, journalism, the British Parliament, mathematics (inquiries on number theory welcome; those on differential equations discouraged), and anything and everything written by Thomas Friedman.
